Our Program
Created For Your Family
01
Low Ratio
We commit to a 3:1 ratio across all age groups. This committment allows us to do what we feel is the most critical piece of childcare - build authetic trust, understanding, and relationships.
02
Small Groups, Mixed Ages
Groups are no larger than six children of mixed age groups (~11 weeks - 5 years). The youngest children in our care enjoy a dedicated space until they join a mixed age group.
03
Multilingual Focus
Families are invited to elect into language immersion, bilingual, or English speaking groups. Educators in immersion and bilingual groups are native speakers of Spanish. Immersion groups experience Spanish language for the majority of their day while bilingual groups hear and interact speaking both English and Spanish.
05
Culture of Your Family
04
Nature + Process
A large segment of a child's time at bloom is dedicated to exploring nature each and every day. Children experience outdoor environments in many weather types. We believe there is no bad weather.
Our program can best be described as process based. We value the journey each child takes as they discover their environment, elements, and resources. Often, the intended outcome of an invitation is dictated by an individual child.
The relationship between educators and families is possibly the most important piece of this puzzle. We want to understand the values of the culture your family is building. What is important to you? How do you function best? Are you schedule oriented or routine based? Would you prefer we follow a daily time line or your child's lead? Together with your child's primary caregiver, we will talk through all of these elements to build a day for your child that provides comfort and security.
